Saturday fun fly - Video (more Pics added)

Saturday we had almost perfect weather for flying. Over cast skies and a light breeze. Zuriel and Mike came over from across the river. Zuriel with his Tutor ARF and Mike with a SkyRay 35. Kreth had his Tutor and Arlen had his new Stealth Looking Shark.
Willie had a ARF Streak, and got in a full flight with the help of Kreth. He had a little trouble standing when he got done. We suggested that he practice spinning next time.
Ryan had his Flight Streak that he few with no fear!! He has concord inverted flight. I really expected him to land inverted yesterday. I brought my Twistang and Zuriel brought his scales. Let’s just say it is like the owner, a little over weight. We pulled the guts out of the muffler, and removed the spinner to get the CG back to the proper location.

We did have a nice lunch. Kreth brought some burgers and I brought the grill. I was having a little problem starting the charcoals. Someone suggested putting a little fuel on them to get them started, but we did not know how the burgers would taste. Arlen had some acetone that kicked off the charcoal nicely, so while they were warming up I put up a flight. Zuriel came out to the center circle and gave me a much needed flying lesson.

As usual I was at the end of all the jokes and I would not want it any other way.

Here is a link to Ryan’s video’s. It would have been better but his batteries ran out about 30 minutes after we got to the field. Next time we will get a new pack of batteries.

It's great to be able to put a face to a name. You're doing a good job.

Woo Hoo!  Love those videos.  I was waiting for the Harley's to pull up with the born to be wild music background.
We had great weather up here this weekend, but I was busting my hump all weekend getting ready for my daughter's first communion celebration.  All is good.

The flying part of my day was too short but had a great time. Those were the best burgers I've had in while.
You guys are going to have to come our way some time. Next time, I'll try to keep my plane in one piece a bit longer.

It's amazing isn't it- how the plane can have such a strong attraction to the ground? I mean there is a lot more sky for the plane to be in than the ground. And the impact point is the very smallest area.

That's way too true!  It isn't helped by the fact that my hand seems to have a mind of it's own and doesn't always do what my brain wants. Guess it could be that my brain's just naturally confused anyway (Nah, that couldn't be it!).

That was a great video too Ryan.  Keep maken em'!!!

The Shark 402 is a great Little plane.  I had never seen one before winning it at Dallas last year.  It flies great and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a sport plane or a good trainer.
