Maiden flight on Sam's Streak today. It rained all day yesterday so the field was a mess. We were standing in 2 inches of water, but that did not stop Sam's enthusiasm. I am so proud of my boy, he did great. You can see that I was hands off several times and he flew a lap, sometimes two, on his own. I am sure he will master this soon. Thanks to Larry Davis for pitting and the hand launch. Ground launching was out of the question today. It was a fun build, but now the fun really starts. I am looking forward to a long summer of flying with my boy. Thanks again to Robert and all the Stunt Hanger contributors for the generous kit giveaway. Also Thank-You CFC Grapics for the decals. Today was day I will never forget. Mike http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYfva3W17OE

Mike, as far as I'm concerned, you are a true champion. Anybody who love this sport so much as to teach it to your young-in, deserves special recognition in my book. God bless you bro.

Bravo!
This is my first post here but I've been reading the build ever since y'all started it. I couldn't let this pass without jumping in and posting.
Boy, that was a long flight for a first go. He wasn't afraid to hold on tight and fly it. Good plane too, looked like the lines stayed nice and tight. Passing the hobby along. Hope to read about more adventures of Sam in the future.
Thanks for the video,
Rusty

Rusty, He is using my combat handle, its the smallest line spacing I have right now. I will be making him a custom fit handle for his little hands soon. But thanks for the offer on the handle. Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. Mike

Doh!
Oops, I edited out that part while you were posting. I was afraid of seeming creepy trolling for my first post. It was sincere though.

Watching that video of you two sure brought back memories. Great video. Now when it dries out a bit you can run the engine a little richer and give him more time to react. And the smiles on both of you says the story.
