When I got home from work my Saito FA40C/L was on the back porch. Now to find the time to build a plane for it or maybe an ARF ???

I heard a rumor not too long ago that Saito was set to release a .40 in the same case, or at least the same mounting/shaft length dimensions as the .30, which is now discontinued. Is this .40 that animal?

More or less yes this is that engine designated the 40a. It's a tad larger than the 30 but not by much and in my experience it will fly anything one would normally put an LA 46 on. I'm running 11-7's on both of mine.
