We were flying this mourning and I had something happen that was a first for me. I normally make a point to the check the line connectors at both the wing and the handle. On my first flight I neglected to check the handle and noticed after the clover both connectors on the handle had slipped the eyelet on the lines where you split the connector to attach the lines. Basically I had just the curve of the bend on one side of the connector holding the lines, I was lucky. Moral of the story, check the connections before flight.
The thing that was kind of funny was when my son Ben was flying his second flight. He took off (I was laying on the side of the center pad) and was flying his level laps and I noticed a hawk diving on his plane. It made several attempts before it left. We have had them circling high above the field but this was a first for me.

I watched a Youtube video of red tail hawks attacking an RC plane. Funny, the buzzards always circle when I take to the air.

This is a video that the owner of our LHS told me about. He knows the family in the video. The kids were flying their Champ when the owl tried to get the plane. The brother went to get the camera and their Dad.
