Title: Sad News

I'm sad to report that Gary Anderson lost his year long battle with cancer today. When I got back into C/L four years ago Gary was one of the first to take me under his wing and help me get started. He offered lots of advice, help, encouragement and of course friendship. He was a long time C/L flyer in the California Central Valley. His childhood hobby became lifelong passion. His passing has left a void in the lives of all of us who knew him. So long Gary.

I'm really sorry to hear this sad news. Gary was a good guy with a lot of enthusiasm for our hobby. Our prayers go out to Gary and his family.   Steve

    He was really enthusiasm plus, he's someone I will really miss. He would email or IM me about once a week asking something and was always happy to have a response. A real shame.

Very sad indeed.  One of the worst things about being old is witnessing the passing of so many friends.

I am really saddened to hear of Gary's passing.  We had developed an "internet friendship" over our common enemy.  We emailed and PM'd a lot.  I was heavily praying for his recovery.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I never got to meet Gary but got to know him through the e mails he sent to me and I have to say I am dazed.  Gary had told me about his illness but never complained and I will miss our exchange of e mails and if I could get one more to him in heaven I would...find a place to fly up there Gary...

Thank's Brian for posting about Gary's passing. He really loved this sport body, mind and soul. He was the best brother in the world. Have fun flying in heaven and until we meet again, love little brother. Thank you guy's for all the nice post about Gary.

Today is Garys sevice, RIP my brother, love your little brother, thank you for all of your post here, I know Gary will be looking at all the post in heaven.
