From Gary Buffon:

**************************

It is with sadness that I report to you that we lost Paul Isenhower on Friday afternoon Feb 26th. Paul experienced a heart attack and Ernie Reece, who had been providing lots of support to Paul by taking him to appointments, etc., found Paul laying on the floor in his house on Feb 25th. Paul was taken to the hospital but never did respond to treatment and passed away late Friday afternoon. Arrangements for his funeral/memorial are pending and I will let you know as I find out. I receive the above information from Kevin Isenhower (Paul’s son) and Ernie). Our prayers go out the Paul’s family. We will miss Paul and his can do attitude.

Please pass this info along to anyone who knew Paul.

Gary Buffon – WAM Secretary

*****************************

Paul was the long-serving President of WAM. He flew WAM Expert for years. I only knew him later in life, but that life was filled with challenges. DIabetes, near-blindness, heart attacks, tragic loss of his wife in an horrific car crash, and Paul just kept plugging away. Gary is not kidding about a can-do attitude, that hardly begins to describe it. Any one of those things could have stopped any of us in our tracks. He is at peace now.

Brett.

With the loss of anyone, WE all have to re reevaluate our lives. I do this on a regular basses, now that I'm getting older. I'm thankful for ALL, that have put their lives into our hobby.

Paul was a great guy! He helped my a bunch at my first few WAM contests. He was never in a bad mood and never had anything but a positive attitude even when life delt him lemons. I've seen Paul fly a plane when he could bearly even see anymore. I've seen him coax a Sterling Yak 9 through the entire AMA pattern in a 20mph wind! I've seen him crash a model and be right back the next week with the same plane, ready to do battle.
Paul was THE MAN to talk to about the old days of C/L. He'd flown just about everything ever kitted, and then some. He knew who won the NATS in every year, in what class they flew, and what plane they used.
He knew everybodys name and always remembered someone on the spot. He always made you feel like a long time friend.

He will be missed.

Paul was my long time friend and cohort in all kinds of Tom foolery in WAM.
I will miss him dearly, I just wish I had the gumption to have call him again.
Hopefully someone will benefit from his storehouse of modeling stuff.
I spent many days of my youth at his house, modeling.  I remember the Black and
Yellow Fierce Arrow he built.  The many variations of Pegasus we both built.
I know what his Obituary should say,  Paul flew, now he has landed in God's hands!

Jim Pollock, extremely saddened by this news  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(
