Hello Folks,
What colors of Rustiloum have been found out to NOT be fuel proof?
I am looking at painting a new model and I don't need the problems associated with paint that ian't fuel proof.
Thanks a lot,

Avoid metallic colors of Rustoleum.

Yeah, what Ray said. A buddy of mine painted a beautiful twin boom plane with a metallic steel blue after I told him Rustoleum was fuel proof. First flight was fine. Second flight, the path of the plane could be seen for 5 minutes after the flight as a metallic blue "fog" slowly fell to the ground.
Was pretty cool, but dang paint got all over us.

Black didn't work for me. Think I had read it somewhere that it wasn't too good, but used it anyway. Made kind of a mess.

How about white?

Seems like the lighter the color, the better it works. Whites, creams and tans, yellows, no problems whatsoever. At least that's my experience. Black will work if you let it cure long enough (like weeks?) and keep raw fuel off of it.
