Title: RSM Profile P-40 #2
Post by: Leester on October 17, 2006, 01:43:21 PM
Last summer P-40 #1 lasted 1 lap before a badly installed B/C ripped through 3 ribs and BOOM. I got another one from Eric although I am still going to repair #1 haven't done it yet.

Heres #2 a completely secure suspended B/C, I increased the span to 52" verses 46" per modifications explained in the kit. Power is a Tower 40, silkspaned and then painted with Lustre Kote. Had the give the sharks mouth a partial as the decal needed 3 more front upper teeth to look right. Used Mono Kote trim sheet. I need to do the canopy yet but it is ready to fly if the weather would be nice. Weights 40 1/4 ozs as it is.  I sure hope to fly it soon.
