I was looking at the RSM web-site, the Pentastar caught my eye. Has anyone had any experience with this design? It is an all (engine, wing ,stab) in-line design. D>K

The design is the result of A GeoXL wing and moments massaged by my friend Lou Wolgast. Lou is a great builder and finisher and has a good eye for fine looking airplanes.
Lou is a very good Expert Stunt flier, and has done very well at contests with the "Pentastar" design. I've flown it in the past and it's an excellent flier as is the stock GeoXL. I've built and flown two GeoXL's in the past and in my opinion there's nothing better. Lou is a Chrysler Auto lover, Hence the Pentastar name.
Lou has done other In Line designs in the past that were published.
Lou doesn't frequent the forums. I would add only that the GeoXL wing is difficult to build straight without one of Bob Hunts Lost Foam Jigs.

Yup, Carl, it's me from NVCL. Got a Super Tigre 60 laying around, wondering what to do with it. D>K

Here's a shot of Lou Wolgast and his Pentastar. My notes say it was taken Dec 2013. Plane still looks good.

Those ST-60s laying around always seem to cause problems....
