Ron Connors memorial contest belated photo report
« on: September 17, 2007, 08:50:02 PM »
It was a fun contest, albeit low in attendance. On saturday, we had not entrants in OTS except for Dick Carville and his Ringmaster. Being a good sport that he is, he offered his Ringmaster to anyone to fly in the class since no BOM rule is applicable to OTS. Oh yeah, OS35S that powered the ringmaster was misbehaving, so I unbolted Brodak 40 from my Chipmunk right on the field!  Will Moore and myself took up the challended and we had a BLAST flying that Ring with Dick calling the maneuvers for us. I was thoroughly taken to task by both Will and Dick.

Later that day, after OTS was done, B40 back in the Chipmunk, Rick the Ice Cream boy Campbell threw the gauntlet(well a paper towel) and challenged me to a duel! Him and me would fly my Chipmunk back to back in front of the judges! So, I bribed the judges and beat him by a landslide of 6( I think) points.

Anyways, here's the link to the photo gallery:

Great pictures that let us know what people are flying in different parts of this great land of ours.  Thanks,  DOC Holliday
