OT so what's everyone up to? (edit)
« on: April 14, 2020, 03:02:33 PM »
Can't fly, I know some can but I can't, I am building something but  screwed the wing and have to contemplate fixing it, so what else is there to do? I'm sitting in my basement with a cold one listening to this. Peace all.  y1

I have gone to work every day since March 22, and have gotten nearly nothing done otherwise.

Keeping Brodak and Dixon going.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.

Thank the Lord I had extra glue and balsa. Repainted shop floor and repainted the walls. reworked work bench and made it more useful. Miss my Grandson coming over every Thursday to build his Magician. Looking forward to flying with friends who I miss.

Keeping Brodak and Dixon going.

Is Brodak open again?

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Just finishing the details of the master bathroom refurbishing. Today is towel bars, towel rings, robe hook. Details, details. Had my first shower in the new shower this AM. After falling in the tub last week, I was looking forward to not doing that again! I'm not sure why there's no bruising where I hit (short ribs), but my right underarm is bruised. Weird things happen to old folks. Last summer, I got shot over the wheelbarrow and landed on my hip on concrete. No bruise on my hip, but my right big toe turned B&B and the nail fell off. No idea why, or just how my toe got involved.  y1 Steve

Doing a lot of praying.  Finished my Ringmaster Deluxe.  Built a Primary Force and gave it away to a teenage boy who just joined our club.  Building a Pathfinder (will probably give it away), Called Sandy at Bud Nosen to place a balsa order and was told to add 110% to the 2019 price list. Cleaned up my shop.  Today going to pressure wash the patio and the fence.  Grazing out the refrigerator has become a pastime.

Still going to work, though I'm the only one here. Still seeing clients with video and with phone sessions. Working on a new classic plane. Spouse is working from home so we are both still employed. Glad about that. Some yard work. Have been able to fly at a local school once. Weirdly, the grass at the school had clearly just been cut. Guess the groundskeepers are still working. It was a bit eerie at the school. No cars, no traffic, no one around.
