Title: Rockford Contest

Does anyone know if Roickford is hosting a contest this year? I checked the events page and found nothing listed. Any help would be appreciated!

Mike,
The Rockford contest is scheduled for August 22nd. For this year's contest, Art Johnson was able to secure the old RC paved runway area for our use (instead of the rough grassy area)  #^. For the last couple of years Art has listed his contest as being in Roscoe, Illinois instead of Rockford because of the Map Quest type sites not showing MacHesney Park (site of the contest) when you type in Rockford.
Hope you can make the contest. Art's daughter provides a hot dog/hamburger, chips, cookies, and pop lunch between rounds. The cost of the lunch is included in your $10 entry fee. It is a low key event with the emphasis on fun and fellowship (i.e. swapping lies LL~).

Wes,
The events are PAMPA stunt for beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert. Due to very limited personnel to judge events, Art doesn't have the resources to run OT, Classic, P-40, etc. So basically it is just a one event contest (i.e. bring your Legacy  H^^).
