Robert, I had this thread under your "T Bolt 3 pics" posts, but no response.
I am getting ready to do some hard core building and I want to know; where do you get your wood, and generally what is the weight of your wood.
Phil Granderson, Jose Modesto, and myself can rightfully use this emoticon LOL. x:

I buy all my wood from Loan Star Balsa. Their next shipment won't be in untill October.

Hi Milton,
I *might* be wrong (don't think so), but I wold guess that Sparky does like I do. Everything is ordered as 4-6 lb. Some slips in over 6lbs anyway just due to balsa density as you know.

Hi Ty,
I sem to never be able to order the "correct" amount of different sizes!!!!!!!! **) **)
I *think* I get way too much 1/16th and always end up getting short. Then I order more, and of course have to get some other sizes when they DO have good wood........... so the imbalance just keeps on getting worse! ;D
I guess I really need to inventory all my "stuff". n~ :!

HI Steve,
I have been ordering balsa from Lone Star for 15 years or more. They have ALWAYS been great to deal with. y1
National and Superior have been good, too. I recently ordered some "Contest wood" from Katmar, and it was as light as I have ever bought.

Hmmm, I was wondering, if you top builder guys have extra wood that is not up to your standards, maybe sell it here in the classifieds to those of us that are not top builders yet. Could be a way to clear the way for more lighter wood, and garner a few bucks for the next order. just think about it, K?
I was lucky enough to meet everyone at Lone Star a couple years ago, very friendly group, very cool shop, and the wood warehouse was a ---dream. If I ever move to Texas, I'm moving to Lancaster. :) :) :) Lone Star is where I get my wood from also.
