Yes Bobby, along with excellent service. I just ordered an engine, header and pipe from them (Dub and Richard) in Sept 18 and received all the items in Oct. 18.

Strange, I've always had quick answers.

That's pretty typical - they make them to order, the volume being too low to have a bunch of them sitting around. That's about the timeline I had when I got my last one, in case anyone was thinking I got some sort of special treatment.

I tried email, phone, everything, never got a response from anybody. No longer interested.

Dub travels some and could be on vacation or something. This is a one or two man shop so sometimes need to give him time.

I just spoke with Richard Oliver, (The RO of RO Jett) and He said that Dub has been out of town and is now likely trying to play catch up.
Richard reminded me that Dub is pretty much a one man show these days and sometimes when busy just can't answer the phone instantly. However, if you leave a message He usually will get back to you in a reasonable length of time.
Call and leave a message with some details of what you want, which is what I always do, and He'll call you back!
You can't go wrong with His engines. I have 6 of them and they run with the very best!

Yes that was the understanding from the beginning. Through several emails with both Richard and Dub they helped me decide on an engine (61) then Dub would build to order. Midway through the roughly 6-week wait Dub sent a friendly courtesy email to say he would be on vacation for a few days and the order would be delayed (no problem). Received the engine from Dub and the pipe from Richard. It was exactly how I like conducting business with other modelers, cant recommend them enough.

One of my RO Jett engines lost one of the small screws holding the muffler. I was able to phone Richard at his home. In a couple days I received a package with 6 muffler screws. No invoice.
That's pretty good service.

he's been on top of emails with me this past week... just placed an order with them this morning.

Been 1.5 years.
I'd say it just fell through the crack somehow. Try again. I found I had over 5000 emails floating around on my computer the other day, some several years old. I deleted every one and surely didn't bother to read them. Kept getting 25 or 30 junk emails everyday and couldn't slow them down. Along the way some of these planted cookies that just kept them coming. Wiping out the lot stopped all of it. You must have gotten lost somehow in Dubs pile. If you still want an engine or two order up. Some day Dub might want to retire.

I'm pretty sure that Richard doesn't take orders for engines anymore. The ordering must be done through Dub Jett! He builds the engines!
