Yoda,
I believe that the Ringmaster Fly-a-thon is the first full weekend in October.  John Cralley may check in and confirm.

I wish it was earlier in the year, it was just to cold and rainy last year. We could not get anyone to come and fly. I think we had less than 10 flights. Warmer is better no matter what else is gong on.

Phil and everyone else,  The Annual Worldwide Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon will be the first weekend in October! It's not too early to build  another Ringmaster or two for  the event!

Clubs, you might want to consider a Ringmaster contest for the weekend.  Dee Rice holds a great one down in Houston,  TX called the Ringmaster Roundup.  I have always thought a 1/2 A Ringmaster combat meet would be fun or a 1/2 A slab wing rat race.

For  myself, I just try to get in some flights with friends!

It's, all about promoting Control Line modeling and having fun!

Many Thanks to all who responded! John Paris: Are you back states' side for good? If so Hope to see you and Mike at the Brodak FlyIn this June! There's only two of these family reunions left. I sure hope you two can make at least one of these.

To the rest I appreciate the information! This outing is one of the most fun days of the season for me. I have several Ringmasters to enjoy with various power plants. These always bring back so many happy memories.

Phil,
I had hoped you wouldn't mind the old moniker.  We are back and have the Brodak event on the radar.  Still working with my flying partner from Korea to make the trip this summer.  Michael says he would like to go as well.  Looking forward to it.

Doc,
Good to hear from you.  Grace is knee deep in mother duties but I will keep the pressure up to get her back at the handle.  Give it a few years and we will see if the next generation can carry on the tradition.
Regards,
John
