Yes, awesome contest. Great hospitality. The two circles were plenty to keep the event going. An excellent mowing job making one wonder if they used a special mower like they use for putting greens. The land itself, especially the Western circle, is quite level, which helps on take off / inverted flight. The Pathfinder I entered, shown below at the NVCL field during stooge-based practice, doesn't have a lot of prop clearance, so the mowing job was especially helpful.
Glad to get some feedback from the judges, both scores and verbal suggestions for improvement. The contest format, watching an entire flight and assigning scores, helps make sure that pilots know where to improve. In my case, I was advised not hit the corners of the squares too hard, and instead focus on "flying the flats."
