By the way, the gentleman in the stocking cap is wearing it because his head is shaved and it was a little chilly. We had great weather for a weekend that was supposed to be full of rain and snow, but, it was cold in the mornings. Lets just say Saturday was a kite flying day and Sunday was a Model Day. HB~>

I think that is Ken Burdick and most of the pictures were taken by John Thompson. I have one picture I took to show the weather conditions that I will post now

A lot of great photos on the "Flying Lines" site.  I am sitting here remembering the year the guys/gals came all the way to Lincoln, Nebraska to fly.  Keep having fun,  DOC Holliday

One of these days I just gotta visit Nebraske. I was raised in a wheat state of Montana so I would be home. Nothing like country folk. I love their values and their enthusiasum for life. As you say have fun my friend.

The NW Fireball meet in Portland should have been advertised as "Mid-winter Freeze Fly".  The WX forecasters scared me away, and they were right!

Portland this time of year is no place for a transplanted CA guy.
