Revised PAMPA plan – Larry Cunningham's Mo'Best
« on: January 01, 2013, 07:49:54 PM »
As was previously announced, a small group of Larry's close associates has been working on several of
his unfinished projects. The first to be completed is the revision of the Mo'Best plan, and it is now or
will be very shortly available as a PAMPA product. Other projects are in the works.

There was no attempt to 'modernize' the plan; the revision addressed errors in the wing plan and the
root rib, leaving the majority of Larry's original work intact. This was considered appropriate since
most scratch builders change some plan details to suit their own building style and methods.

The AutoCAD work was expertly carried out by that guy from Down Under, Geoff Goodworth, who is
known on the Internet forums as 'geoffgg'. Robert Compton ('robertc'), Mike Nelson
('pipemakermike'), and yours truly are also members of the group.

Hi Bill,

A big thanks to you, Geoff, Mike, and Robert for getting this plan ready for publication.  Larry did a lot of things for his fellow modelers and he is sorely missed.

A question:  Who do we contact now for PAMPA plans (products)?

Thanks, again!

I was informed that all of the PAMPA products will soon be available for purchase on the PAMPA web site (apparently under construction but nearly ready as we speak). This was from Jim Vornholt, the Sec./Treas. to whom the files were sent.

BTW, folks, as I pointed out in the announcement, we made NO attempt to 'modernize' this early nineties plan; instead, some errors in the rib airfoils and measurements were made.  You will have to look hard to see any difference by just eyeballing the plan.

Also, as was implied, we have some further projects underway ... too early to chat about.
