Reporting back on the FS.25 and a wet 2 cycle
« on: December 28, 2010, 02:39:11 PM »
OK, I may have the wet 2 setting figured out on my FS .25 on a SkyRay35. All I can say is my old SkyRay never flew that good. It was a little fast but it was a kick in the pants.

I was doing 4.5 sec lap times on 55ft lines, would turn on a dime, and give you 2 cent change.

Did I say it was fun to fly? #^

I think I might try and adjust the line spacing to try and slow the controls down a tad. y1

WoW.... not the same plane that's fer sure.

First step might be to find some longer lines!  55 feet will screw you into the ground.

I guess I didn't follow this saga - what is different about your  Skyray from before?

Bret,
I followed your setup, and corrected the controls. Added a CF pushrod.

And previously, it was set up some other way?

If the longer lines don't slow it down enough, it will be get a slightly lower pitched prop.

Edit

I'm looking outside and am jealous that you got to fly. Not happening here for awhile.

I changed out the elevator. 2 inch cord. Changed out the tank with a uni-flow tank.
Previously I made a extra long control horn because I was not getting enough up. I fixed the control throw and now I went back to a standard horn with equal throw it both directions.

Did I say I liked it?

Edit

60 feet should put it just a hair under 5.0 with no other changes.
