Reminder: Valley Circle Burners Spring Contest on May 19th

Guys,

Just wanted to remind all those within driving distance that the Valley Circle Burners of San Fernando Valley, California will be holding our first contest of the year on Sunday, May 19th at Apollo 11 Field in Van Nuys, Ca. This flying field is also known as Sepulveda Basin.

We will be using the VCB profile rules. The classes will be Sportsman and Competitor. See the events section here on the 'Hanger for a flyer and for the rules.

The other event will be 1/2A--1cc. This will be a single class, winner take all award. Refueling is allowed during the allotted flight time. Profile and built-up fuselages acceptable.

We hear this is somewhat of a "bragging rights contest" among the brothers. We'll have to see how that turns out. There was a rumor that one of the brothers ordered 5 gallons of fuel for the contest. They may be planning a lot of practice...?
