I would love to be there, but I am once again in Arkansas for family issues. Please pass along my apologies for missing one of my favorite contests.

The tires on my rental car seem to be able to float it pretty well at highway speeds! Should be nice tomorrow, they tell me.

I am just amazed I ever lived here, I guess I (and everyone else) gets used to being sticky all the time. I might take a trip down to Death Valley next weekend just to dry everything out.

I hear ya. It's been a wet week. I'd say come fly with me but the field is too wet to mow. Plus, I'm painting the house.

Nice idea, but I am shuttling back and forth between hospitals for this trip.
