We have shade canopies and water. Makes a big difference. 3 of us plus 65 have been flying since morning. Still ok. Perfect breeze at the moment. Straight air. Cool under a reflective canopy.

Mother Nature did her best to try and defeat us, but stunt flyers are a tough group. The morning started with dark clouds and rain, but the skies finally turned blue and the sun came out. Yeah it was hot and humid, but the light winds were perfect for stunt flying all day.
This is an excellent contest with a great new venue. The new field is a nice improvement and much appreciated. Hopefully the word will get around and the turnout next year will be even better. Stunt flyers in the NE need to start putting this contest on their calendars.
Many thanks to the judges who worked all day under some really brutal conditions to judge us. Also, all the behind the scenes folks who made the contest run flawlessly. They never get the credit that they deserve. Thank you. A big tip of the hat to the folks who provided us with an excellent lunch. I know working that grill in that heat and humidity had to be awful. Thanks, it was delicious.
Looking forward to next year.

Our host North East Philadelphia Radio Control Club is fantastic. They mowed our circles Thursday and Saturday in the rain. Over a three month period they enlarged the area for the top competition circles. Cutting into some nasty undergrowth slowly and systematically. The grass for all circles was cut down to fly off height gradually, half inch by half inch, a method that improved the surface enormously. They cooked for our contest. Took care of all those logistics. We were able to concentrate on organizing and running the contest. Big thanks to NEPRCC.

Dennis,
Thanks so much for a great contest and thanks to the North East Philadelphia Radio Control Club for letting you guys hang out there. Your Club is very fortunate to have such a supporting RC club.....coming from a supportive RC club, I realize what an unusual thing we have.
It was a great day, very well run contest and the food was great.
Thanks as well to the judges for without...we would have no contest.
Look forward to seeing you in a few weeks in Hurlock, MD. Hopefully we get lucky with the weather just like you guys..... #^ #^ #^ #^

As the others have said, it was a great contest. Loads of fun and a great venue. Really enjoyed it. Very good turnout in spite of the morning weather. My only complaint was the judges refused to give me a senior bonus! (LOL) Guess I'll have to practice some more. Great job guys!

How special was it to have a contest at a park named for one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence? Howard says Benjamin wasn't a relative, but I think he's just playing it down. He's such a :## Steve
