I use light weight wood putty.   Or fill with balsa dust and CA.  Of course that makes a hard spot.  Try mixing balsa dust with Elmer's wood glue.

Like Doc sez...or if they're really deep, cut thin sheet balsa plugs and insert. Then sand flush til' its smooth and hole/dent free.

edit-I guess as an extreme alternative, you could sheet the sides with very thin balsa sheeting to hide everything!

I agree with Richard on the plugs. If the tongues stick out, sand them flush. Even if they have left very shallow places to fill, I'd still use balsa plugs. Just glue underneath and let the finish provide all the adhesion around the edges. If you are worried about glue hardness, you can use dope instead as the adhesive.

Thanks for the reply's guy's, I wasn't clear enough I guess, I've sandeed them flush, and need to fill the small imperfections left in the fuse sides, looks like I might use balsa dust and model cement or cement and micro baloons.
Sure do appreciate all the help though... H^^

Gil-
Use Super-Fil (which you need for fillets anyway) or light weight spackling material from hardware store, once covered with silkspan you shouldn't ever see the dents. No spackle for fillets!

It is even worse with a lazer cut kit, where the place is brown.  Particularly if one is doing a transparent finish.

That would be a case where I would use thin sheeting, if I couldnt get the brown off! Hey, that gives you a chance to reinforce your fuse with a CF laminated in it, and still use a clear covering!  ~>
