I think this is the plane that was refinished as the Flying Grape, noted for it's aversion to bees.

In my PU university daze'days...I needed extra EZ credits (WRONG) and took a Botney course and our professor professed that bees are  not attracted but
addicted to BRIGHT COLORS SUCH AS GRABBA-YELLOW....and during field trips would demo his findings. :)
MAKES ME GO HUMMMM?
He also found that many folks who have pollen and weed allergies also have an ADDICTION TO BRIGHT YELLOW AND ORANGE COLORS..
Hummm?
BEE! WITH THAT IN MIND?  WEAR NOT A BRIGHT YELLOW HAT, SHIRT OR SHORTS! LL~ LL~ LL~

THEY CALL THESE GUYS...MELLOW YELLOW!

Yea, yea. You missed the screaming yellow Cobra.

The flying grape had a, uh, sudden ecounter with a bee. It's was interesting. I don't think the bee was attracted to the purple plane. It was sort of the other way around. Maybe Ted will tell the story.

I hear thatGRABBER YELLOW stunters can take on a life of their own and often have a way of flying the pilot instead of the pilot flying the airplane?  y1
With the proper medication....some of those allergy problems can be controled? LL~

Donnie,

Yea, if I had brought it with me. Duh!

Opps! These pain pills really effect my brain drain...what I meant to say: With proper medication..(such as painting the model burple' or some other color instead of GRABBER YELLOW...might have been the "balm in Eugene...not Gillead' that could have had been an annodote' for those allergies.
My usual Sico' attempt at humor gone amuck! My pradonnieO's brotha'Randy...and again, Congratulations are truly in order for the day as that NEW SHOE truly is a piece of flying art at its finest.
