Red Baron original stunt design by Beto Glaser - Plans set
« on: November 14, 2011, 03:02:07 PM »
Hi Commanders,
Here we have a very nice original stunt design by our buddy and excellent modeller from Curitiba - Brazil, Beto Glaser.
He is a very nice guy and shared freely with us this pretty Mustang based stunt design, that he called Red Baron. The design is intended for engines in the 40-46 range, and flew beatifully with a OS 46 LA.
To my Knowledge he destroyed this pretty model due a broken line in the Curitiba´s tharmac track. Even the engine was destroyed
He´s now flying another pretty stunter, an Brodak Spitfire that substituted the Red Baron at the moment.
Im attaching the plans from Red Baron to the Group, and Im certain that he will get very happy with a emailed line or two from the fellows that liked his work, his email is: alberto.manoel.neto@terra.com.br

Thanks for sharing Carlo. It is a beautiful model and great CAD plans. What is the wingspan?

Hi Joshua, very nice to know that you liked the plans. In fact its a very well made work.
To be honest with you I dont know the wingspan measure. Any given number from me will be just a guess.
Please be free to contact Beto at the email above. Hi is a nice guy indeed, and Im sure that he will have pleasure to ask you any question about the model.
Regards
Carlo

PS: I will attaching a improved version from the Red Baron soon. The model was called the Miss Bj Pro and also was designed by Beto.

Hi Carlo,

I ran across the Miss BJ Pro before I saw these.  Another very, very nice model!  It's always nice to see great looking models that are semi scale in looks.  Nice size, also since it looks like both models are powered by the OS .46LA.

Thanks, again!

So this is a semi scale model of the plane that Steve Hinton crashed at Reno in 1979 then. Great looking plane and that canopy really sets it off.

Seems to me this could be the basis for a very good looking model of the Ghost.
