According to the polls its 50/50 on line size. So if I were ruining the show it would be a coin toss and you get what you get. However its probably a more scientific way to do things (even tho its a pain in the ass). Now Pattern points the vast majority wanted to keep them.
This will be the last week you see these polls or discussions on rules in open forum. If you want to be part of the change (and 09 is when we need to do this) send me a pm with your full name and AMA number to be part of the rules boards. I would love to have Keith T as moderator, as he is on the board.
Here is how its going to work. Anyone can submit a proposal. Lets use BOM as a example. I am old school BOM and I write a rule. Some want Marvin's rule. Some want no BOM. Submit all of them we will discussed each one and refine them so anyone of them would pass scrutiny. Then we vote on the best way to go. This is not to say that the loosing rule of the poll could not be submitted because anyone can do so. But you have heard the old saying two heads are better than one. So 1900 must be better. What we are trying to achieve is a balance of both sides (inclusion) and to get the best proposal through. Too late now for this year to bitch but lets not get caught with our pants down next cycle.
