Is there any flying activity at the Pagoda in Reading? I may be visiting in the area.
Thx

Flying Dutchman are active. They have paved circles about a half mile above the pagoda. You can fly jets there.

Dennis,
To my knowledge that is a privilege that is extended to the Philly flyers 2X a year if they accept the annual invitations. and their flying is usually limited to a few flights.
No site could last long with a steady diet of obnoxious noise traveling for a mile in very direction.

Thanks Dennis. Didn't know it was a special invitation. I never made the arrangements. Makes sense. Always important to contact a club to fly at a Club field.

No jet for me, only 46LA, B40 Fox35 with muffler. Is there grass or only paved circle? Open exhaust allowed for Vintage Combat or Perky?

Circles are paved. Mufflers are recommended but Fox and McCoy engines are the biggest abusers of the muffler option

Many years ago, Bob Fryer extended an open invitation to the Philly Flyers - Come ANYTIME and fly with us.
I've been there many times and NEVER heard a noise complaint.
