New Years Day Flying in MI
« on: January 02, 2010, 08:37:21 AM »
A couple shots of the adventures a little north of Florida.  While things were cool here, I am sure my brothers in Minnesota were much cooler.
John

No jokes about the shot from the dark side.  I was just trying to show the snow....  By the way they are a lot harder to see when it is snowing when they are farther than 70 feet away.  :!

HA!  I remember doing some of that RC but never CL. Left that area in '83. Never again!

Great to see the CL guys out there. Now at anything below 60°, I go into hibernation.  Z@@ZZZ

Thanks for the post.  :)

Greg,
You must have misread.  We ate a ton at HKB.  It was the best part of the day.  The cooler weather made the food test even better.  Better get with the program and stop sitting on the couch with the little woman, holding her hand and telling her she is pretty. VD~  NYD is only once a year.

The North Carolina and South Carolina guys got together New years day and we flew at Watt's log cabin in Rock hill SC. It was 52 -55 degrees no wind. I flew my 52 year old AASr and Will Davis flew his ?????  in a tune up for KOI. I was still toying with the Idea of a trip to Florida till  I got a call just after I finished my last flight from Rebecca that all drains had stopped working. Big problem near the street in the drain is now fixed but no trip to KOI this year. The weather has not been above freezing for the last three days at my house east of Charlotte. Have fun at the KOI guys.  #^
