What more can be said, If other sports had champions the likes of Bob Hunt theyed be well served!  His tireless enthusiasm and humble openess to all levels of flyers is unknown in lots of other sports! Having said all that, would like to pass on top secret 1st hand knowledge of pilot figure for 40-60 size aircraft.  Hes a tiny smiling fellow sitting in place at control, buried in trophies, looks just like Bob, comes with miniatureVSC squares for application to rudder likeWW2 fighters had. Dont think this alone will unseat Bob,wonder if Bill Wwould like 1 for his P-47??  All in good humor, again congrats Bob Hunt..  Rob F

I think that is the main reason I stay with aerobatics.  So far I am the only one you don't want to be around when things don't go right.  Several have had to give me an attitude adjustment.  But, I have yet to meet a fellow modeler who was not helpful in some way or another.   H^^

I also got to witness Bob's 602 flight on Saturday morning between the wind shifts which were numerous and gusty. It is very rewarding to watch a real pro fly the pattern. When Bob landed I felt like the Gieco commercial with Charlie Daniels tearing up the fiddle and then handing it to the man and saying; "That's how you do it son." The more I fly at this pattern the more I realize just how difficult it is to get it anywhere near correct. As a judge I watch for 45 degrees and 5 foot bottoms and intersections. The intersections are the hardest to hit every time. As Dirty Harry use to say; "A man has to know his limitations." With that I say go fly stunt and enjoy yourself.
