Rattle Can Paint
« on: November 30, 2020, 09:19:36 AM »
Gents,
On my new plane I plan on using white rattle-can paint on the fuse and part of the wing. Will it be ok to spray auto base color over the rattle-can white? The auto base color will be utilized for trim. What rattle can paint do you suggest I use enamel or laquer and rustoleum or krylon?

Thanks for the help.

Stephen;

Before you spray the plane I would HIGHLY suggest you use a test piece to see if the auto paint is compatible with
the spray can paints.

You can use Dupli-Color spray paint and then put auto two part
clear on it with no trouble. Dupli-Color is available at almost any
auto parts retailer.
