Title: Rattle can paint over dope ???

Anyone know if I will have any issues if I put Rust-o-lum rattle can paint over dope?
Don't ask what kind of dope cause I don't know. The plane is a hand me down.

Spray some in the lid of the can. Experiment ,with a small brush, on a place you cant see.. ie under stab ect.

It will work OK, the reverse is not true.  Ensure the surface is oil free and scuff it with some sand paper.  The Rust-o-lum needs somthing to grab onto as it is a mechanical bond rather than chemical as is the dope.  y1
