When I got up this morning, the weather didn't look too bad. I started loading the truck then all hell broke loose. I got trapped in the truck and the garage got flooded. All week the weather has been passable, now this.

Well, in Topeka today we had a little breeze. Not near as bad as last year. After I got loaded and headed home the truck showed 94F degrees. Should have look at the C conversion for the guy/gals on the other side of the oceans.

I'm hoping this Sunday isn't a repeat of last Sunday. Time will tell.

Well it is raining here in Shawnee KS and we need it. Got the grass mowed just in time.

Well, it happened again today, but not until I got in 2 good flights. I can't complain, but I do anyway.

First guy: The weather sure is bad, ain't it?
Second guy: Yeah, but it sure beats no weather at all!
Sorry, couldn't resist...it has been raining here too.

It was beautiful here yesterday (Saturday) and it's lovely today. Humidity might be 60% (inside, the gauge says 30%, with no A/C), and outside 79.5F, inside 77.5F (with no A/C). It did rain like a mutha on Thursday, I think it was.
Pete Ferguson and I went flying at Auburn Muni yesterday. I got in two flights and called it. Pete's electric motor disassembled itself, and he didn't get in a flight. I suggested that he take it up to the R/C shop and ask them to fix it (really, just so's they'd see a ukie stunter in the flesh).
I don't understand why these electric motors aren't bolted together or threaded together. I don't know how they are intended to stay together, but it doesn't seem to work. E-Flight 32, I think. This season, we've had more power failures resulting in crashes, inverted landings, or scratched flights around here with electron burners than with IC planes. But no over-runs! LL~ Steve
