Post by: Andrew Borgogna on December 28, 2011, 10:23:08 AM
At next months AMA convention the Knights of the Round Circle and the Valley Circle Burners will team up and have two booths dedicated to control line model airplanes, if you are at the convention please stop by and say hello.

The Knights will also be offering a complete ready to fly RSM Ringmaster with a Fox .35 engine.  Please take a look at the raffle flier I have attached.

I heard that one of your wiseguy fellow "Knights" was spreading a rumor that my PT-19 was up for raffle.

It was, and we sold $47 worth of tickets to put in the treasury.  The new owner said he is going to put a canopy over the cockpits - he figured the builder forgot to do that.

It sounds like Eric Rule must have been the lucky winner.
Only he would consider putting a canopy on a PT-19. Knowing him, he would probably put one of his Still Stuka canopies on it.
On second thought, It could have been Warren. After all, only Warren would paint checkers over his canopy. How the hell can a pilot see through a checkerboard painted canopy?

I am also quite certain that it was Eric who started the rumor that the PT-19 was covered in Mono-cote.( Eric never liked me)

Canopy?, no problem, you now have a PT-26 stunter (at least if it is the right type of canopy).  ;D
