The Roundup is this weekend at the Auburn Airport. Anyone other than me attending?

I don't have an airplane, and I have work to do on the property.  So I'm going to sit this one out.  Basically, I'm pulling a Randy Po -- hey, wait a minute!

Mark Scarborough posted on FB that he'll be there. Let's hope that Howard has had a successful reentry from Tulsa. I'll be there helping polish Randy's new plane.  LL~ Steve

I'll be in Tacoma the end of the month.  50th HS reunion.  Have also planned to visit a local city council, my old pipe band and masonic lodge.  When/where do the Skyraiders meet these days?

Next NWSR meeting should be Oct. 8 at the Denny's in Kent, just south of the Hwy. 167 overpass on N. Central. Folks start showing up for chow about 6:30 pm and the meeting starts at 8pm. Doesn't sound like it will fit your itinerary, but it would be great if you could make the scene. Denny's wants us to buy food, but sometimes it's hard not to stop someplace else on the way!  y1 Steve

I'm out there until the 15th but had allocated the 8th to visit my old Clan Gordon Pipe Band practice in University Place (which is also where my HS reunion takes place).  I played with the Gordons for 20+ years.  Bagpipes, beer and dancing girls usually wound up getting priority over model airplanes.  I left the Puget Sound area in '95 but still recognize a couple of members' names.

Pretty familiar with Kent as I used to commute on 167 from Puyallup to Tukwila for many years.
