Thanks Ty from me for all the work you did at the NAT'S. TY, also judged OTS along with Tom Dixon in the Tues. non sanctioned events, so he was pretty busy. He did a great job judging, as did the other judges in those events. The other judges were Jim Lynch and Joan Cox in OTS. Andy Stokey, Walter Hicks, Dave Fitzgerald, and Dave Trible handled the Classic/N-30 circles and what a great JOB THEY DID TOO. I'd like too add that Mark Overmier also spent hours at these circles too helping the judges.
Special thanks to Jeff Traxler who was the pit man for both these events even though he competed in OTS. He also set up the pits to his liking creating more room than we had in the past on the grass. We just turn him loose and he takes care of business. After the contest I was going to go over and help him get all the rebar rod stakes up (they were way in the ground), but he had already pulled'em up, took up barricade tape, p/u cones and stacked'em. People like TY, Traxler, and Don Main(don't want to leave out this nice hard working guy too) do such a great job keeping things going at the NAT'S. Without them we'd probably have a cluster.
