Frank Carlisle

Very often I know a name very well from SSW forum. Often at a contest I get to meet the person connected with the name.
At FCM this weekend I got to meet and visit with Len Neumann. It was a pleasure. And it makes SSW feel more like home to me since I've met the man himself.
While I was chatting with Len, Sparky ( Stunt Hangar Forum boss)
walked by and without hesitation they both agreed to let me get pictures of them together. Think about it.....at the circle competitors can be friends. That's the magic that keeps me going. Oh yeah !

One question. Who's shirt looks better?

Great pictures and isn't this what makes the family of modelers so great.  Able to agree to disagree or vice versa.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

Thanks for posting the pics here too Robert. As I mentioned on SSW to Frank's posting, it is nice to be able to link a face to a name.

And a big thanks to both you and Leonard for having these boards available for all to enjoy.

Well I don't know,
Sparky is more trim, but on the other hand Len is more trim than most of the "older gents"

Both of you are "lookin good" and as George said "Thanks to both of you"

I was (and still am!) a Charter Member of Len's site.  He was the first one to really make one of these sites "happen".

No animosity here............. ;D

At S.H., though, we just limit our discussions (USUALLY!) to Control Line models...............

I have to disagree Bill.. He wasn't the first as I remember there was a BBS first. Just can't remember the name of it. But it doesn't matter who was first just who is here. Altho Stunt Hangar is the first to do FREE giveaways!

Hi Sparky,

My wording was not good.  There were a couple of BBS in the beginning, but I was only saying that Len had the first Web Site of this style which really took off.  One that wasn't of the "Flitelines" style, I guess.

You forgot......... Stunt Hanger is the FIRST (and still ONLY ) with the "NO POLITICS"  policy! ;D
