Title: Question for St. Louis old timers
Post by: Jim Thomerson on August 10, 2007, 09:14:10 PM
I also posted this in the OTS forum. Hope you don't mind.  In the June 1948 Air Trails there was a pull out plan for Beelzebub, a cute little stunt airplane.  Years ago someone gave me an enlarged plan.  On the back is written in pencil "Yellow Stunt Ship 30" span". Can anyone document that a Yellow Stunt Ship was built before 1952 and is thus OTS legal?  I would love to build one.

Hello Jim, I do not have any information but I just wanted to say “HI” it has been awhile since we have talked. So many changes have happened over the years. I remember when Buder Park was just a model airplane field and nothing else. Now it is not that way anymore. I think the last straw fro me was when they fenced the whole field off and moved the Blues Festival from the downtown river from to Buder Park.

I hope to someday get back into flying again, lots of good people around…………….

Mike

I didn't notice any fencing the last time I was there.  I know it is a lot different from when I used to fly F2C and scale racing.  Mainly only one way in or out and hope the local train is not there.  Jim, have you tried Scheaffers Hobby Shop?  Have fun,  DOC Holliday
