Well I did a search on photo down loads and decided I didn't have time to look.  So here goes.  You have your pics in a file on your computor under pictures, right?   On a post at the bottom is an  icon that says  "Additonal Options",  click on it.  Then there is a section that pops up,  click on Browse.   On my computor the file comes up with all my photos.  I put the curser on the photo I want to down load and it tells me the size.   Most are well over the 200 KB that lets you post more than one photo.  The lower the KB the more photos that can be attached.

If not small enough, a right click on the photo will bring up a menu.  Click on edit.  My program has an icon to resize the photo.   Once done I exit the program.  The new photo should be in a section called recently changed, at least on my computor.   On the bottom right corner is anothe icon for picture type like,  jpg, mph, png,MPEG or such.  Click on it.   Then click on the picture and then do the open icon.   Every thing should return you to your post with the address in the block.   If you have more pictures, click on more attachments and repeat.

When you click the browse your computer will show your programs, click on yours that you have pictures in (my pictures) then continue. If you go over the 1000 kb's per post they won't let it happen and you have to start over.

Leester : I used PhotoBucket, its an online upload service, that will enable you to upload from your computer to their server, from there you can generate the link code and simply cut and paste it into the thread.

You can also do basic crop, edits, and resize. Its very easy to use.

Search for Photobucket in Google - you do need to login in, which requires simple registration.
