Been running a 12.25x3.75 on my OS LA 46 I sure could use more "drive".
Seems that I read that someone had reduced the dia on these props by 1/2", has anybody got some suggestions?
I'm not sure about the RPM range on this engine, but due to tank capacity being less than 4 ounces, I'm running only 2.5 % nitro and have about 6-8 laps at the end of the pattern..
Suggestions sure would be helpful...
Thanks a lot...

Gil, try the APC 11.5 x 4 and 11 x4. You' ll get more punch. Try about 9400 rpm or a solid but rich two cycle and forget the 2-4 break. These engines are designed originally to be RC engines and don't know what the FoxCrack is.

Look in the Engine Setup forum that Randy Smith moderates. At the top, you'll find a pinned subject that is .46LA specific, so you should find a lot of options there. Remember that less prop load will increase your run time and allow you to run more nitro. @@^ Steve

I'm running a Majic 12.25-4.25 two blade and have not had any issues in the Florida air. I'm also getting a beautiful 4-2 break at 9300-9400 launch RPM.

I use a master airscrew 11x4. Also an apc 11x4 and get plenty of power.

I am using an XOAR 12 X 4 using 3 oz for the pattern. This is with Sig 5% nitro, 20% 50/50 oil.

Bob makes some nice props, been using his for several years, he has a very good 13 6 prop for the st 60 ,
For a mass produced prop , I would try the APC 12/4 , great prop , reasonable priced, very consistent in pitch from one prop to the other

I am running a Zinger Pro 12-4 on the LA-46 in my Fun-51. Dick Houser set up the engine for me. Uses 5 and 3/8ths ounces of 5% to get through the pattern. I am very happy with this prop.
