I have been experimenting a little with prop sizes on my LA40 powered Twister. Normally I run an 11/5TF but I tried an old 12/4 TFsuper-M and it really made it come alive.......problem is I don't think that TF makes that line any longer and I only have that one. Do any of youse guys out there know of an equivalent? And does 12/4 seem normal for that engine/plane combo. I might add that I am using 25%nitro Omega brought up to 21% lube with BeNol castror.

try your hand at making a mold of that favorite prop, then you can have as many as you want.plus you can use differant materials to make the new ones with.fiberglass or carbonfiber.

If you like that prop so much, measure its pitch every 1/2 inch, so you can duplicate it. Or, can you find a larger diameter and cut it down?
good luck with your search

I have 3ea. TF Super-M 13-5 props I will part with for a price. 2 are untouched, the 3rd has faint drive washer marks on it.

Several locals swear by the APC 10.5 x 4.5 for .40LA's. 8) Steve
