Title: Prop diameter vs line tension

Guys,
What has been your experience with varying prop diameter vs line tension vs lap time vs wind penetration? I know the basic idea is the larger the prop diameter the better the line tension, square tips more line tension. However how does the prop diameter impact the need for lower lap time for wind penetration? If you use a 13" diameter on a full size ship (700 sq's) could you fly lower lap time then if you used a 12"? It seems this might work, what's your experience?

Prop diameter gives traction. Prop pitch controls speed.

Larger props can induce gyroscopic precession and adversely effect the planes cornner.

Everthing we do to our planes is a compromise.
