Glue shortage in progress
« on: June 23, 2015, 07:54:26 PM »
As promised, dad has begun contributing to the balsa and glue shortage!

First up is a profile stunt/scale AT-301 Air Tractor, kit bashed from a sig twister, that will
Be painted up like Dusty the Cropduster from the movie "Planes". A guy down here in Texas, Rusty Linderman painted up a full scale AT-301 to look like Dusty and has been touring the airshow circuit with it.

Dad is planning for an OS46LA RC for power, and a 2.5 Ghz radio operated throttle for profile scale and demonstrations (he's trying to get it done in time to take to Oshkosh to fly in the Kidventure demos) and have the throttle setup removable to fly in profile stunt.

Hopefully this will be the first of several projects to come!
