Post by: Ed Barry on October 08, 2018, 10:52:13 AM
Don't forget, Profile Stunt PAMPA classes and Balloon Bust on Sunday October 21 at Garden State Circle Burners field in Lincoln Park, NJ.  Balloon Bust is (JSO)combined will be flown without a barrier ala Brodak style. Stunt ship must be a profile but Balloon Bust can be full bodied or profile.  Balloon Bust will be set up for 60 ft. lines and a 60 ft. line speed chart will be used.  Balloon Bust is three attempts for one official flight and the BB circle will be open all day so that we, hopefully, can have everyone back on the road by early afternoon.  Bring your own food and drinks.

One additional note.  The AMA rules for Ballloon Bust Specify no engine larger than a .46 cu. in. and a maximum weight of 4 pounds.  Planes will be weighed and pull tested to 10 G.
Also, we are eliminating bonus points for scale planes and no wing appendages allowed.  Plane must be at 45 degrees or higher when pilot signals a pass on the balloons.
Thanks,
Ed
