The local Hobby Shop has closed and the nearest one dosen't stock them. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain Profile Publications? I am specifically looking for one on the Lockheed P-38. If you have this one and don't mind parting with it, PM or email me.
All help and info will be appreciated.

If I posted this in the wrong place please move.

Rider's Hobbys, which owns several outlets in Michigan (too many as it were), is closing their Madison Heights store.
They carry a lot of Profile Pubs. I could try to pick off a few for you, if you will promise to pay.
Private Message me a list of subjects.

Bill a Quick google search will find you many places to buy what you are looking for. Specify P-38 in the search and it might save some time.
e-mail headed your way rog

Bill,
Several years ago I was building a P-38 from plans I got out of one of the magazines. I beleive it was one done by Charles Mackey. I bought the profile of the P-38 at that time and still have it. I do not want to sell it but I will scan it and send it to you by email if you wish. No charge.
Let me know

There are almost always listings on eBay for any number of Profile Publications. The individual copies can usually be purchased for a reasonable price. The bound volumes of the Profile Publications can get a bit pricey.
Just type in Profile Publications forn All Categories.. You will be surprised what shows up. (291 listings currently)
If you type in Profile Publication #106, you will find two copies of that publication for the P-38. One is up for bid. You can buy the other for $5.00 plus some S&H.

I started to save Profile Publications several years ago ( cover pics ) off e bay. I have all numbers and continue to up grade each photo as a better one becomes available. I upgrade every week. I plan to offer a CD someday for those who are interested. $5.00 each plus postage of $1.50.

Now this is what makes this Forum what it is. I post I get answers, I reply I get acknowledged. Elswhere because my name isn't a household word in CLPA I have been avoided like the plague or chastised because someone thought my legitimate question was stupid. Thank-you all for your on the money answers, I now have a lot of places to find what I need.
Robert thank-you again for seeing your dream come true.

Hey Bill,
How about seeing some construction pictures of your P-38.
Looks like you will be the first to complete a P-38 from Don Hutchinson's plans.

OK-OK-OK Tom you win. I'll get some developed this week and try to post. If I can't post um I'll get Rootbeard to help me out. I still can't believe mine is the first though????? It's been a little bigger project than I anticipated, needs a lot of room??? 65' is a lot of wing.

Bill,
Looking forward to seeing the pics. I will put them on my web site too!
It is a large airplane, but will be worth the effort.
