I am building a Brodak Profile Oriental with my son. I noticed the nose of the oriental seems to be a bit long. Has anyone had to shorten the nose on the Oriental to get it to balance correctly??
I'm planning on using an OS 40FP on the Profile Oriental.
Thanks.

Might be a good idea. It has been done in the past. Of course if the wing cut out has not made yet, you can move the wing forward.

Steve,
You are correct! I built one a couple of years ago and didn't catch the long nose until too late to shorten it. I ended up lengthening the aft fuselage several inches to get the balance correct. Looks kinda goofy, but actually turned into a nice stunt trainer. I hope to build another one someday with the shorter nose. I love the airplane.
