If you encounter a problem here tell me not post on Stuka how displeased you are with something here. I will not tolerate it! This place is hard enough to keep ahead of let alone chasing BS to other websites.

Sparky, I hate to play the devil's advocate but last week I was visiting my son in Il. I used his computer to sign on to stunt hanger and it waas o.k. for a few days then on wendesday or thursday when I went to the drop down menu on the computer and tried to get on stunt hanger it took me right to the hobby shop. I could not get on the forum the whole rest of my visit out there. On Friday i went on Stuka and saw a post about the same problem. I tried everything to get to the forum but kept going to the hobby shop. Now that I'm home everything seems to be o.k. In fact I had to use the link to go to the hobby shop. I did not goback to stuka and read anything else but ther was a difinite malfunction for a few days.

I understand this. I am a mechanic and not a web designer. In the real world Microsoft engineers release beta programs for the public to find the bugs just as I did. I had 3 broken links and they are all fixed. There is no need for people to go anywhere else and talk smack. I do this as a second Hobby not a living and I do make mistakes.

When I got the phone call about this post on another forum you can't believe how torqued I was. I'm all better now.

Glad your feeling better. I don't remember the post on stuka, in fact i went there just to see if anyone else was having problem, I thought it was my kid's computer had gone goofy. I have been known to glitch up more than once. l.o.l.
Just glad everything is back to normal, Keep up the good work.

Maybe it's weird, but I have not changed the link that takes me right to the forum from "favorites". Works fine, as always. Since I use "CCleaner" everytime I shut the box down, there is no history in the address box, and nothing in cache from yesterday. Recommended! Frustrates the snoops, secures banking data, and also makes the computer boot up faster, I'm told. I think what is happening, is if you (somebody) goes to the address box history dropdown and just click on one of the addresses that says "stunthanger", away you go to whatever you looked at yesterday or last week? Use "favorites" and it should help.

Having done our club website for some years, I can tell you that one of the problems is "cache". As you change the page for the website and check it, you gotta remember to "refresh" or you keep seeing stuff that's the way it was before you just changed it. This chit will drive you mad at 3am, trying to figure out if you're looking at the page online or on your own box, either in cache or the actual document before you FTP it onto the server. Ewww, not fun! Interesting, challenging, useful skill set, but definitely not fun!   :P Steve

Steve is exactly right.  I am webmaster for our club website and the controllineflyers.com website and I constantly have to empty the cache or I will not see the changes I made on the website.....
