this may be a dumb question but needs solving before new stunter can fly.
the airplane was built to use a s.t. .35 stunt with a fox prop shaft extension and a fox aluminum spinner.
problem is that the s.t. threads are m.m. and extension nut is sae.
anyone know where i can find a adapter nut that is proper m.m. thread on engine end and sae on spiner end?
Thanks
David

Randy Smith would be my choice...

I have several ST 35's and 46's, they are all 1/4 28.. You sure the shaft isn't buggered up or maybe your prop extension is the wrong thread.

thanks guys! for making me go pay atention and check things.
it realy baffeled me when first trying to fit it up as i never had problems that i remembered.
find that 30 year old memories cant be depended on.
what i found--dug out a few foxes k&b o.s. & s.t.
extension nut fit all but s.t.! n~
stock nuts fit all engines n~ n~
measured all shaft threads and all are 1/4-20! n~ n~ n~
ran a tap through extension and it removed enough metal to have been cutting threads in a blank hole!(tap drill size ) %^
now it fits all engines! #^
agin--thanks and ill try to pay attention next time ! :!
