What glue is best for attaching the printed electric motor mount to balsa and plywood?

I would use 10 minute epoxy. Even 5 minute would work well.

I used Slow Epoxy (Zap 30-minute Z-Poxy) to bond the 3-D printed motor mount from Okie Air (formerly Tom Morris) to maple. I also put shallow notches with a jigsaw into the maple surface to give some added mechanical bite. The faster epoxies are more brittle and less strong, I don’t use them anywhere strength is needed. 70 flights to date, no issues

Thanks for the replies.

Jim - I’ve always found 5-min epoxy to be the opposite of brittle. It always turns out rubbery and/or flexible when cured, which is why I stopped using it. Can you please expand on “brittle”?

Paul you are right. I had not used 5-minute epoxy in so many years I forgot. I just mixed up some 5-minute Zap epoxy. An hour later I could bend the puddle without cracking.

I drill 4 holes (1/8" or so through the mount. Two on top, two on bottom and plug them with a wooden dowel. That puppy isn't going anywhere. You can do the same for a full body but I don't use these for full body opting instead for the "through the firewall" design.
