ISO Super Tigre 35 parts

Looking for a connecting rod for a super tiger 35. Does anybody know where I might be able to find one.

If something happened to break the rod, I'd look for cracks in the corners of the crankshaft intake window.

Which ST .35 series? The bushing .35C series, or G.21 series? I ran the snot out of two .35C's with zero failures.

FWIW, it was fairly common to replace OS .35S rods with ST .35 rods (OS rods weren't bushed and wore quickly). Some aftermarket rods have been made in small batches for the OS .35S, so it seems like they should also retrofit into a ST .35....or at least, some ST .35's. I'd ask Randy Smith, and Leonard Neuman (Stuka Stunt Works). Brian Gardner in Australia might also be able to help.  D>K Steve

It is the 35c series.
The engine was setting on my work bench with a prop on it. It was gumed up and I was going to free it up sometime. One of the guys that I used to fly with got to messing with it and he was trying to free it up. I told him to leave it alone, a few days later i got  it out and was going to free it up when I notice that it prop would move some back and forth. I removed the back plate and the connecting rod was broke where it conected to the crank. I just put it away. that has been several yrs back.

Sounds like your friend free'd up half the engine anyway. If it's the C35 don't worry about the crank window.

No the  29 and  35 uses the  same rod, the  40 and 46 uses  a longer  rod , except  for  very early  twin ring 46  will  use the  35 rod

I have a Super Tigre connecting rod (new in pkg.) #02030108 which I believe is what your looking for.  Have you completely disassembled your motor and decided it's worth fixing?  If so, let me know where to send it via my e-mail "jbrghtncl@gmail.com"

NO I have  ST 40  46  rods, but  not  the  35/29  ones

Jim, I have seen the ST 35 connecting rod listed as part number C108, so I think John's rod will work for you. Best, Chad
