Title: Prayer request
Post by: Bootlegger on July 06, 2018, 10:45:43 AM

Bill Rose, our Sunday School teacher had a spot removed from his jaw this morning, and he told me that the piece of skin was about 3" long, and it is Meletonin, but they are hoping to be able to remove it without having to go to deep into his jaw.

We are both members of First Baptist Church in Zachary, Louisiana, so all prayer support will be greatly appreciated..

Melanoma, very dangerous, but good cure rate if caught in time.

As a fellow member of an independent Baptist church you can count on some prayer from me.

As a Melanoma "survivor", with the scar to prove it, I'll suggest annual visits to the Dermatologist for all y'all. My next visit is scheduled for July 30, if I live that long. Call for an appointment Monday!

Gil, tell your friend that he'll be fine, and that we're all pulling for him in one way or another.  H^^ Steve

My wife has survived Meletoma twice so far. Caught early, it is treatable. Left alone it is fatal. My ex wife died of it.

I go to the dermatologist regularly and slather myself with sunscreen. And wear a full brim hat and UV proof sunglasses. Cataracts and skin cancer are no joke. And, if not preventable, can be held in abayence.

I send my good thought for recovery.
